What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee includes admission to the program, materials, and meals throughout the conference. Individual tickets do not include hotel accommodations or travel. All attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel and travel.

DO YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED HOTELS NEAR CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES?

There is no official CampusCon hotel at this time, but we encourage you to explore hotels near the venue.

Who is eligible to attend?

We are designing this program to best serve full student leadership teams from student governments and other student organizations. Unlike our annual Presidential Leadership Summit, this program is open to any and all student leaders from your campuses. The more the merrier--we just ask that everyone attending hold a current, actionable role in an organization.

How does this differ from other conferences?

As a non-profit organization, we’re in this to fulfill our mission to cultivate, strengthen, and advance student leadership in higher education. We’re not in this for any profits or to sell you on an agenda. That’s why we strive to maximize the value of our programming and bring it to you at the most competitive price possible.

NCLC prioritizes substantive programming. We take the content of our conference seriously; our rich curriculum is delivered by only the top experts and professionals in the field.

Best of all, the experience doesn’t end when you leave CampusCon. NCLC serves as a resource for students throughout the year free of charge — there are no membership fees to stay connected with the network of students you meet.

Moreover, NCLC’s history as an organization further sets us apart from other SGA conference planners. From launching the It’s On Us campaign with the Obama White House to leading major national college affordability initiatives, we stay connected with key decision makers at the local, state, and federal level in order to open the doors for students like you to succeed.

HOW CAN MY ORGANIZATION BECOME A CONFERENCE SPONSOR?

Glad you asked! Our sponsors allow us to keep our registrations fees at an affordable range for our leaders! You may contact Jordan Baker at info@campusleaders.org. She will reach out to you directly to share our sponsorship packet and talk with you about opportunities for involvement.

What if I cannot afford to come?

Please reach out to your university administration for financial assistance. We do not have scholarship opportunities at this time but want to try to make it work for everyone.

Can I miss a day of programming or come later to CampusCon?

While we encourage all participants to attend all three days of programming, we realize that some will not be able to. In this instance, you should prioritize the last two days of CampusCon, as they are the largest opportunities you have to meet with your peers and national policymakers. Be sure to communicate with us about any related issues or concerns.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing business casual clothing throughout the program. We will confirm suggested attire via email at least one week before the event start based on the final program schedule.
